there are currently 2 active fediverse matrix chat rooms that you are welcome to browse and join at your leisure.

both of these rooms are hosted on the kiwifarms matrix server (because they were both created by a member of that instance) but are not run by KF administration

the reason there are two rooms is because of jojo spam. a democratic vote was taken and the people wanted a room with jojo. those who didn’t made a second room that’s invite-only, simply to weed out random non-fedi users (and jojo alts) joining out of the blue.

There was an ambulance on our street today. The ambulance crew included a man in soldier uniform. I know that the army helps out, in times of civilian crisis. But it still gave me a sudden chill shiver, to see an ambulance on our street accompanied by a military person.

Yes, I know. Necessary deployment of state resources, etc. Perfectly sensible use of personnel.

Still gave me a fucking horrible chill, though - that sight, that image, this afternoon.
