You can't "grow out" of #ADHD, right? Like that's not a thing, is it?
Literally just posting to reread later #ADHD

Who am I, and why am I here?
Forgetting why I went where I went and what I was trying to do once I get there is SUPER ANNOYING
Question about Better Things S03E12, Spoilers
Can somebody FRICKIN' explain why Frankie left home? Is it because the has #ADHD and her chaotic house kept her from succeeding in school? Or was it something else?
ADHD Bingo, 2020 update
Decided to reupload an updated version of my #ADHD bingo results since I recognized that I indeed do have trouble switching tasks (even though I can multitask, interruptions are extremely frustrating, to an illogical point).
Is it just me, or are there no men out there talking about #ADHD? I look around and it seems to be mostly women.
True story, ADHD
Wanna hear a funny #ADHD-related story from today??
Okay
So today during dinner, Mom asked me to get two of the pizzas that had cooked out of the oven. I asked her where she wanted me to put it, and she said she wanted me to put it on the stove. So, I went to the oven and realized that I needed a hot pad to hold it with, so I grabbed a couple and went back to the oven. During the process, I forgot where she wanted the pizzas, and she said the stove. I open the oven, but then I begin debating with myself whether or not I should use one hand to lift it, or two. They look small. But they might be heavy. I end up deciding to use two. So, I bend over and lift one of the pizzas. As soon as my back straightens, I realize that I have forgotten where to put the pizzas. As soon as decide to ask Mom where to put them again, I remember that she wanted me to put them on the stove! So I proceed to put them on the stove.
I can be such an idiot sometimes 😝
My dad asked me "Where do you see yourself in five years" and I went on a five minute rant that I didn't even get to finish that confirmed one thing for me and made me realize something new:
1. I'm definitely on the #ADHD spectrum
2. I'm incredibly ambitious for someone who doesn't really know exactly what I want to do
I love my fidget cube ❤️
@adhd_alien also helped me realized that over the years I'd actually been adjusting to most of my side effects of #ADHD unconsciously, especially in my pre-teen years, without realizing it.
@adhd_alien has been the very first person I've found who actually seems to understand the kind of #ADHD I have. How To ADHD is certainly helpful, but much of it doesn't apply much to me.
I think #God and #Christianity (particularly Sola Fide-led #Calvinism) help mitigate negative #ADHD effects on self-esteem
Okay enough with the #ADHD posts for now I guess
I've moved over to @realcaseyrollins for my private account
This is literally just here to archive my old posts now
