If you're genuinely protesting peacefully with no ulterior motives you'll adhere to the curfew just like the rest of the law-abiding citizenry. Otherwise, you've more than likely an ulterior motive. Regardless, it also gives law enforcement the justification to detain on sight since you're in violation of a lawful mandate simply by being out and violating the curfew order.
