@sim
Ah yes, the story. It's really quite sad. 😔

I had posted the video awhile back but found the longer version today and posted it:

I made these two last night without looking at the tutorial to practice what i learned. I skipped a couple of steps for sure but i think they look nice regardless. #blender

@realcaseyrollins I havent decided on the specific technology to fullfill that, but mumble was suggested a few days ago.

I feel like it would be nice to have an always-on VO-IP conference channel of some sort where anyone who is actively on QOTO (and those who arent) can hang out in, to supplement the text medium.

That way when someone gets all pissy and mad at someone they can just pop on and handle itface to face, or atleast, voice-to-voice.. I feel like it might create an interesting and improved dynamic maybe.

Good info in this video from MKBHD about YouTube optimization, namely:

YouTube algos are ranking down YouTube channels that have subscribers who subscribed but are not watching videos from given channel:

I enjoyed streaming yesterday so I'm doing it again. Today we'll be building the Security page into Soapbox FE including ability to change your email and password: https://dlive.tv/alexgleason
@djsumdog @realcaseyrollins @_p @sim Yes, even if she were genuine, the faster someone gets to an opinion on a subject, the more likely their understanding and reasoning is full of holes. Because they didn't take the time to plug those holes. Asking of people to make snap judgments that they now expected to believe to the point of self-destruction and violence is indeed insanity.

Remember that time we didn't need hydroxycholoroquine or a vaccine to cure COVID-19 because woke riots cured the virus instead? twitter.com/Liz_Wheeler/status

@guizzy @sim @_p @realcaseyrollins If someone believed covid19 was the worst thing ever and never faulted, or something though it was totally fake and never changed their mind, neither can think critically. Most of us looked at things daily and weighed them.

This recent rage machine feels super reactionary; a generation of people taught to react with a 👍 or emoji without thinking. "Silence is violence" is Double-speak; pushing people to react without thinking as a sign of virtue. This is insane

@Locksmith @freemo @realcaseyrollins @shebang

To us that's not an 'insignificant' amount, but compared on the national population it is.
It's a bit easier for me to laugh things off these days. I know a lot of people say things without even reading about or trying to understand them.
