@igel@jaeger.website I've known this for awhile, but I got bored and decided to look at one of the heavy handed type admin's block lists. That was depressing. The good thing is that they essentially isolate themselves. Hopefully if the instance blocks get real bad you may see users jump ship to a less heavy handed instance thus exposing them to what they were missing. The way I see it, instance politics is more likely to move toward openness than mass isolation. Those who isolate hurt themselves and their users more than anyone else.

I noticed that there are two types of admins of fediverse instances. Those who think that Twitter was censoring too much. And those that think it didn't censor enough.
