Imagine you had an employee who was getting less and less efficient every year. You wouldn't give him a 40% promotion every year would you? Why do we do this to our governments?

THEORY: The reason why that predictor in #DevsFX failed was because it tried predicting events outside of the scope of the data it had recorded. Had they continuously used updated data, it would have worked forever

@alex IMHO #Gab needs to either rejoin the #Fediverse or have another prominent user (although pls not one that shoots people dead next time). Sure they can get a good CTO if they want but they're still irrelevant and I don't see that changing. Anyone who was going to join #Gab has probably already joined. I don't see them getting another source of users to propagate user growth without federation, or good advertising. Doesn't look like they're interested in either tho

@snow Perhaps they just wanna make money tho? That i can understand. Esp. if they don't have jobs beyond #Spinster (although to my knowledge MK is a writer. Not sure if she makes money from that tho...)
