So proud of the work our team is doing right now. Tremendous progress on the Gab user interface overhaul as well as our new video communication product that is almost ready for release.
I'm not kidding when I say everyone on this team has been working 15+ hour days during this lockdown and it's about to pay off big time.
By May Gab will be something completely new. Something you're all going to be proud of and love. Game ON.

@kaniini @alex contributing to the linux kernel is also directly enabling hate groups to spread hate. you're equivocating here. if you don't want to work on pleroma any more just say that, but don't pretend that it's because someone you don't like adopted it. that doesn't change the moral calculus at all.
@kaniini To the extent possible I'd rather be friends than enemies. That's my take on it, and it's generally how I try to interact with people.
I'm working towards moving all my servers to Pleroma because I think it's the strongest option. Spinster is one of those servers.
I also want to reiterate that Spinster users are mostly a bunch of old ladies that have not harmed anyone. I believe that radical feminists and trans people face many of the same issues and should be in communication rather than at odds.
However if you don't agree, I respect that. Hope maybe there are other ways we could work towards shared goals.

@alex That's life, I suppose. Lots of people have been hurt in some way. I've been hurt by multiple people in my life. I think perspective is key.
Pretty much every person who is mean ever has been hurt in some way.

@realcaseyrollins It's actually kinda unreal to me that an American citizen doesn't know this. Internet Privacy Law as places like the EU enforce them would never be upheld in our courts. @Ox @Ricotta @alex @dave

It does appear that you're right. However, I think "invasion of privacy" can apply to doxxing, so not all doxxing is legal.
