That goes full circle to my original point; if the government alone has the power to feed citizens, that's very dangerous, as they can threaten the citizens with starvation.

A better policy is to allow to citizens to feed themselves, which isn't really being done rn.

(We have the facade, "you can go to the store", but since farmers aren't really allowed to get back to full capacity, the food will run out in mere months.)

The goals of those who want to keep the economy closed indefinitely isn't to literally starve everyone, but to force them to conform to their whims and get them in line. Totalitarian governments will rather have dead citizens than dissident ones, of course. But there are always sheep who don't value freedom.

Thankfully, #Trump is wanting the economy to get going now. We'll see how successful he is.
