@realcaseyrollins @Lainyboy @_p Haha. I mean, they can be disappointed in white people for not agreeing with them too. They can try to see them in a similar way that they do with other black people. But I think white people are already not in that category and there isn't much they can do about it. Except be disappointed but they'll move on quicker when it doesn't work. Different standards. The same will likely happen with you.

Though on the other hand the use of long ethnic origin names (african-american, mexcian-american, etc.) is done either as soft-language because black or mexican on their own seem 'xenophobic' or a need to continue dividing along racial lines.

@realcaseyrollins @_p If he didn't take that expectation for granted then he shouldn't be disappointed in you having a different opinion. He would realise there is a diverse amount of opinions out there as well.

@_p@shitposter.club @sim Yeah, that's a good question. I can really go with both, but I do prefer black. But yeah I identify far more with being American than any relation I may or may not have to Africa...I've never been there tbh, and all the people I know who have gone over there are white lol
