Well, we're having a conversation, right? And this is how I think things through. I've got my conclusions, but I don't think we'll understand each other unless we think things through.

So CNN is pushing this, why would they do that? The way it's structured, they have the people writing the stories, they republish AP stuff, and then they've got editors, the editors decide which stories run and they revise the stories or ask for revisions.

So I went and made a fresh installation of #PopOS 20.04 and it's so much faster already! My previous installation was an #upgrade from 19.10 to 20.04 - is that it, then? Either way, really enjoying it now. #win

In California, you need the parents' permission to get married if you are under 18, and if you are under 16, you need a judge to approve it as well, and I think there are other hoops to jump through. I'm not up on child marriage laws, I don't see too many people marrying children.
