@nethaniah@theres.life Same, I'm just saying that nobody is really talking about how to this should be handled prosecutorally but this situation rn is showing how * not * to handle it and fellow pro-lifers should take note

@Ox Yeah, that's true. I never took "people will still get them" as a seriously legitimate rebuttal to the prolife cause but it's definitely something that needs to be considered from a prosecution standpoint

@realcaseyrollins abortions will always happen. the difference in legality is whether it's safe or incredibly traumatic.
@Meeper @cirno @realcaseyrollins they wouldn't ban Switter - it's their favorite instance :blobcatgiggle2:

@mewmew @cirno @realcaseyrollins Hmm Spinster is one of the big five of the normie bans along with fse gab switter and sinblr

@mewmew @Meeper @cirno Probably literally only because it had an identical interface to lol

I don't think being a TERF is enough

@Meeper @cirno @realcaseyrollins yes, because it never blocked Gab posts from the app - it blocks you from logging in with Gab. Gab still supports the Mastodon API, minus AP endpoints.

@Meeper @cirno Yeah there was @TomKawczynski the alt-right pro-segregation presidential candidate who ended up dropping out

@cirno @realcaseyrollins Well that’s good, it’s still a little sad that gab left, we actually had ‘public figures’ on fedi maybe even POTUS.

@Meeper @realcaseyrollins It's what I feared. The very existence of freetusky triggered the fuck out of them so I don't think they're going to try any more for a while because they don't want anyone else jumping ship

@cirno @realcaseyrollins I mean it wouldn’t be long till GNU/Smug is banned there if they descend into that rabbit hole

@realcaseyrollins @Meeper As far as I know, just gab. Though after they did that I figured it was a slippery slope so I jumped ship

@realcaseyrollins @cirno idk, they may have banned fse afaik since it’s pretty infamous at this point but gab is basically the normie-bann

"Wait a second -- are you saying my science teacher was lying to me? That's a pretty outrageous charge!"

the expanse

something bothers me about this show. if they have gravity because of the epstein drive, why isn't the gravity always engine-ward :blobcatwaitwhat: when they go fast the gravity presses them in to their seat, but slowly makes gravity floor-ward. shouldn't the gravity always be engine-ward?
