I'm still skeptical of all the e2ee stuff matrix is doing, but I have to say that their approach to device verification given the multi-device circumstances is the most workable yet. It's pretty frictionless by now.

@lnxw37a2 @realcaseyrollins Also ChatMessages is a huge feature, it's not a small thing like Markdown support. Groups is an absolute Mastodon killer if implemented correctly. People will never look back.

You make an account on every instance with public registrations that has a trigger-happy mod. 2. You follow the account that is going to send this message from every one of those accounts. 3. Make a custom activitypub activity push, that has it's text different for each of the servers it pushes to. The downside is that it wouldn't work for single-user instance blockheads.
@khird I frankly think that needs to be a feature added to all #Fediverse properties, it would be wonderful
Then I could say "hey, sign up on our service and use the same sign in on all our platforms"! Or, I could say "sign up on one of our platforms USING another platform like #QOTO"!
I feel like this would be ultimate freedom and create a viable alternative to "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with FaceBook"
