For supporting ? I think?

I've had run-ins with the Fake Avengers before, but I guess they forgot to block my main, too!

The issue is jsut that "he is not a scientist" was never meant to say "you should only listen to scientists"... it was intended, as newark said, to mean "He isnt making precise statement here, it is rhetoric" Where I emphaized saying the infection is "more prevelant than we thought" doesnt mean much in any specific sense because they arent actually comparing it to specific figure .. more prevelant than who thought, higher than what figure?

the point is, what was being said had no value due to its lack of precision. Mentioned a scientist didnt say it wasnt an appeal to authority but rather pointing out that non-scientists are often so impercise with their words as to useless, as was the case here

As a Christian myself, the fact that these concepts have such traction in my community (this podcast is paid for by the Washington Times) is quite troubling.

Have they learned nothing from how government overreach has been used to encroach on their own freedom??

Perhaps a lot of it stems from general principles of controlling behavior, that can be found in the Church

But this is a reminder, not only is the left not the only home to authoritarianism, it's not just nazis on the right who are authoritarian; a lot of Christian moms like these are as well.

Saying drugs are bad is like saying guns are bad.

Yeah, they're dangerous, but when used properly are just fine.
