It is indeed a pity, but it's difficult to have enough attention and stamina to process more of the local instance's Feeds, their flow is the reason I join and visit.

But thanks to the awesome power of the Pinafore client, I have currently about 11 accounts, all ready and accessible with ONE single click for switching.

LOL.... I could flip that right back at you, also a never ceasing #nomad like me. 😜

Truth is, we can't really be active on more than a couple, but there's a use for more of them -- even if for casual use.

I wrote a blog page 6 months ago which I still find very relevant, and plan for a new page sometime soon -- since I have joined a few new communities recently, and have a new campaign, #markdown or Else!

Plus my usual, active and opinionated, Cat Friendly and STEM Lord account at Qoto.org. 😉

I am working on things all day, it's more than a Full Time job for me; no pay at all, but great satisfaction with the pages I create on my blogs (2 of them active, more to come), my Fediverse Reporting activity, etc.

Good that I have the time to do it, for the communities I am involved and for myself. I just described this, my amateur writing and journalism ongoing apprenticeship, to a friend who complained I sounded annoyed when she called (a phone call!!) when I was in mid flight, new page in development... 😉

Just woke up from a nightmare where I was going back to China for a trip into Tibet, but not only did I lose my boarding pass (which they were able to rectify) but I forgot to bring my DSLR. I also ended up at the wrong gate.

Kind of says it all, doesn't it?
