Disprove the reason they're trying to cancel you for? They'll run with another or use every trick in the book to twist your words around. Apologize? Too little too late. Ignore and carry on like they don't exist? You aren't giving them any ammo and they'll get bored and try to cancel the nexy guy on the list

Seriously, why does Hollywood still exist as a concept? It might have made sense when producing a movie required equipment that was completely inaccessible to the public and arcane knowledge that only a few people had, but none of that is true nowadays, and it hasn't been true for a while.
