That was my experience with Mastodon sites. I got kicked from three of them, due to disagreeing with mods about something, or simply mentioning that I don’t hate Gab.

I’d love to test https://Mammudeck.com against a Mastodon instance, and maybe I’ll try mastodon.social with a new gmail address, but I’ll bet that even mentioning Mammudeck there will get me booted; it doesn’t block ANYTHING. It’s a sharp tool, not a political viewpoint enforcer.

It's no wonder it turned out like that, Gargamel got journos to chill Mastodon as a "controllable, nazi-less alternative" so you got all the crazies joining and he's been catering to them since them, and making his bed in it. That "Account suspended" email is one of the worst feelings in the world. Mastodon went above and beyond to design software which empowers neurotic, tyrannical admins.

The email template has a gavel icon because "justice has been served." It's designed to be as big of a "FUCK YOU" to the user as possible.
