ð¤ Tip of the Day ð¤

Since google has been pain in the ass blocking ours and other public searx instances, we had to disable google search results. However because now by default they are disabled, all spammers, crawlers and other scum does not knock to google's gates via our searx. This means we are no longer blocked.

If you want to use google search results on our searx, you need to enable it in the preferences.

@realcaseyrollins @Cyph White people get fucked with by cops, I don't think it's quite the same obviously but it is a thing.

> We have nothing against prostitution, but we are against women who sell pussy

what am I reading :comfyderp:
Hmmm, after 4-5 years of fighting I thought I'd try learning to live with the squirrels in the garden and they're responded by developing a taste for the tender growth on my roses and becoming what seems like almost spitefully destructive. They don't even eat the stuff, just chew off the flowers once they're ready to bloom or chew off a new shoot at the base then leave it on the ground. The past week or so, now that roses are in pretty much full bloom, it seems that they go through first thing in the morning destroying what would have been the most beautiful blooms.

Since diplomacy is no longer an option I guess it's time to move to the alternative. I've been putting it off for a couple of years but now the tube trap order is in (also grabbed a no kill trap to start removing some of the rabbits from the block).

To give an idea of how bad the number of squirrels in my tree has exploded, in a normal year, the number of squirrels checking out the garden around the tree is 3-4. I looked out one time last week and there were at least 9 in a 15' x 15' area. I wish there were a way to target individuals (can't really shoot them in the city, when I lived innawoods downstate birdshot put a quick end to any tree rat issues) then I could probably narrow it down to one of the new juvenile males but I think it's finally time to bring the population back towards a more natural balance while continuing to look for ways to change the ways I manage my garden to discourage another population explosion in the future.
