Dreamt last night that Mark Zuckerberg was my boss, and that he showed off his Bitcoin miner. Then I dreamt that Diaspora was still a startup, had an amazing redesign, and everybody started using it again.
My only regret was not dancing on the stream.
So glad this milestone has passed. Now just need to figure out what I want to do next. The next obvious move is the recurring donations platform, but I think we're also at a MVP to start the hosting service, and it will be better to get started on that sooner than later. So maybe I'll work on them both in parallel.
This account is interesting. Heterosexual man who transitioned in later life, but also went on bupropion (Wellbutrin) which is used off-label for gambling addiction... the urge lessened with the drug. He was on it for depression but the side effect was that he no longer felt the need to dress "as a woman". I've heard that theory a few times - that in straight men the desire to transition shares characteristics with addiction - and have seen evidence given about the way it makes these men feel, but hadn't seen evidence of something working to lessen the impulse.
