Not in the sense of "the AI has beliefs about white supremacy", but yes in the sense that AI systems can be used to deliberately or accidentally perpetuate racism (also sexism, ableism, etc.). The books "Weapons of Math Destruction" and "Technically Wrong" enumerate many examples.

One small example is the "racist soap dispenser", which astonishingly has been developed more than once:

There's no reason to believe that a person (or AI) *decided* to behave this way. It's much more likely that the development team and the training data were both devoid of dark skin.

: The people hate you cuz their skin color is different than yours. Live in fear! Hate them, even. They are the enemy, unless they say otherwise. Their silence is violence, and privilege to boot.

Also : Geez man, why is there such a race issue in America? Must be 's fault.

On further inspection, I think the tweet itself might be fake, but the intention to language police its users is certainly there, and if you don’t think the implementation is going to be fucking Orwellian, I don’t know what to tell ya.

Didn't know this. I tried to look at some users over there, but they all redirected to the login screen.
Also, I have self-destructive tendencies so I've had to eliminate so much out of my life. Like the common things people use to have a good time. They don't do it for me.

If I did those things, I'd basically send the message that "I hate you..." to myself.
Learning to like yourself doesn't happen overnight. It's a gradual process, where things just click into place as you get to know yourself better and think about things. Make improvements to your life and how you behave. At one point, I just had to be open to the idea that I didn't hate myself. I couldn't imagine liking myself, that it would ever happen. But today I'm just like... hey, I think I might like myself. That's so weird. I need to value myself more, even first.
I think I might like myself right now.
