Just realized I used the wrong version of manner. Ugh.
The hardest part of today wasn't the trip to the vet. Explaining to our 5-year-old the process and the reasoning behind what we had to do was the most uncomfortable part. To see her eyes fill with tears and enter the grieving phase of losing our precious pet...it tore my heart out.
That cat would perch on my wife's pregnant belly and calm the babies down with her purring. That's a bond for sure.

Just deleted my Fascistbook profile and disabled any apps on my phone connected to it. Now to begin detoxing myself. I'll start with a cold beer.
