I am now dealing with Mercari and it gets a lot of interest for the type of junk I'm selling. 10 minutes into listing something, someone tried to buy it (compared to less than 8 views on eBay for an entire week!) and then they apologized because they "didn't have enough funds".
Yes you do, in fact, NEED MONEY TO BUY THINGS. Hello?! Jesus Christ, man. Do not overdraft your bank for a piece of plastic.

I've been dealing with people like this for many years and I look forward to the day I get rid of all this junk and regret buying it in the first place! Also totally looking forward to paying taxes on all this horseshit because even though it's not worth a lot, it does add up due to all the bulk I have. We can't have poorfags making an extra couple hundred a year, right? :FeelsWeirdMan:

@beardalaxy many years ago, eBay didn't require your social security number and I was selling here and there. Now pretty much all internet marketplaces require your SS so they can report the $3.50 you earned to the IRS. :sadgery: The exception is probably something like Craigslist but I never tried it for collectibles. In the collectors circles I was in many years ago, I never heard of anyone buying stuff off Craigslist or looking there for rare stuff.
