I've had this meme saved on my SD card for over 10 years, so now that Jizzney is butchering Bambi next, it's a relevant time to post it.

That also reminds me that his last concert I went to in 2020, I also bought all the fucking shirts and hoodies and then realized FUCK, I have to lug all this back with me on a train. Not the smartest idea but at least he got my entire paycheck in shirts. Now all I have to wear are Devin Townsend shirts because I don't really buy clothes anymore.

I love how Devin Townsend manages to always bring back bits of Strapping Young Lad in some of his recent years songs. I've caught up on his latest releases this week and his Dimensions track is definitely sounding like it would belong in an SYL album!

I do prefer his heavier stuff but he's my favorite musician so I support whatever he puts out. He has commented before that his voice is getting harder to force into heavier vocals as he ages. To me, the man still has a beautiful voice. Even when he's "not screaming his balls off" (he said this during one of his live albums lol).
I got to meet him back in 2020, where he signed my Deconstruction album. I've admired him for over 15 years at this point, so meeting him was surreal! He's so humble, too. I probably had come across as weird but I was way too excited about meeting him!

I will be sending back my Elegos to Japan for the toy skeleton installation sometime after they approve I can send money via bank transfer. I'm sad that Elegos will be gone, too. 🥹
