@natsock @JEJ 2D games aged fine, but most of the 3D games have aged horribly. They're even worse than 3D PS1 games that required the D-pad IMO, but I have never owned a 3DS so I don't know how they improve with the circle pad. Worst offenders go to the games that (almost) entirely use the touchscreen.

Most DS games don’t require the touchscreen. The few which do are 99% not really worth playing (and there are clever workarounds for that 1%). The biggest consideration imo is the dual-screen setup when playing on a PC. Good emulators provide a bunch of different viewing options, but you do need to find the right one for each game you play.

It’s alright, a step up from the PSP. Biggest issue is no dual-stick control unless you get that peripheral that doesn’t even work with a lot of games. 😩

I actually like the feel of playing it on a DS though, that's the entire point. I know the PSP has emulators you can download for use the psp itself, but I can't think of something similar for the DS.
