Which is the bigger scam?
@xianc78
Anything with ads is just bullshit a monetization scheme. Adverts are the scam, not the shortener.
NFTs are bad, but only as bad as stocks or pokemon cards. There is no harm in them as long as you understand basic concepts.
But online gambling is the dumbest scam idea to ever work. What if you gave me money, and I decided how much I want to return, and shown some corresponding shiny immages?
So yeah... Online gabling, shortly followed by loot boxes, shortly followed by "surprise mechanics™️" would be my list.
@LukeAlmighty Well, I don't hear about that many people playing online poker anymore. Fantasy football was popular around five years ago but I don't hear about it anymore (probably because sports have been overrun by SJW garbage).
I included ad URL shorteners because it just allows idiots to get paid by sharing links on social media and other places. I remember people using it as a way to get paid to share their Minecraft mods/texture packs. They just share it on MediaFire then share the adfly shorten link on whatever Minecraft forum they're on. These idiots thought they could make a living making texture packs for Minecraft.
@parker Top one should be "NFTs". I don't know why it showed up like that on your instance.
BTW, when I mean "paying URL shorteners", I'm talking about those URL shorteners like adfly that display ads before redirecting you to the page and pays the person who made the URL.
