@noyoushutthefuckupdad @Fullmetal4456 @coolboymew I also remember the OpenPandora. I always wanted one because it supported Pygame so I could port my Python games over there just so I can have my games running on a console/handheld.
It's successor the Pyra is still in development and is going to be even more outdated.

Holy shit I remember that one. It's around GNU Hurd leves of Never-Ever (tm). Sadly because it's basically everything I want from a handheld: DS-like screen you flip open, no touch-screen fuckery, built-in game controller, pretty neat IO, running Gahnoo Loonix, etc.
The only thing it's lacking is actually being completed. fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.
