Yeah. I played the PC version before. The N64 version still has that bonus AT-ST mission that can be accessed via the "chicken" password. In the PC version they replaced it with the ability to use the AT-ST in normal gameplay.

Which is why I would like to make a spiritual successor one day. I already have a sci-fi universe in my head. I plan on using it for something else, but I would like to use it in a Rogue Squadron style spin-off, later down the line.

There are some plug-ins that make it playable but it still has issues. The problem is that N64 emulators use high-level emulation, meaning that they mostly emulate the API calls (so it's more like a compatibility layer like Wine) and as stated earlier, Factor 5 pretty much wrote their own drivers for the game.
