@beardalaxy @ryo @PhenomX6 @xianc78 CD's are awesome, I have an external one powered by a USB, I wish more PC games offered that route instead of being steam exclusive. I have never seen a game come on a flashdrive before, I feel like a game coming on a flash drive would make it lose its magic

They are not the same. Video game cartridges use ROM chips (which often use NOR). Flash drives use NAND. Also, flash drives are completely re-writable while the only re-writable part of a video game cartridge would the battery-backed RAM if it has one.
