Why does Mastodon recommend that you disclose what platform you are using to access an instance? Is there a particular reason for it? It seems like it goes against user privacy. What if I don't want to tell everyone that, hey, I'm using Windows so I'm probably at home right now and I'm using an app so I'm probably away right now? Seems a little bit dangerous, idk.
