@xianc78 i seem to remember the IMF told somewho's after the last bailout not to do it again. it was so unpopular and they almost lost control of the protest narratives that it was like "do not do a bailout like this again you will be killed and we used up all our favors suppressing it this time". probably why all the velvet gloves this time around.
