@lanodan @matrix I wish Opera open-sourced their engine instead of dumping it.

@xianc78 @matrix Yeah, specially given that it was a pretty good engine. My guess, specially it being a web engine, is they didn't have the full rights over it, which is why it can take so horribly long to liberate a codebase. (Someone tainted by the source leak could tell, I'm not touching that ever)

@lanodan @matrix I wasn't aware that the source code was leaked, but that's not really going to change anything unless some anonymous programmers made some illegal fork and released it on the darknet, which would only be used by like 3 people anyway.

@xianc78 @matrix Yeah, code leaks basically never help, at best they're a double-edged sword for reverse-engineering (you can get documentation, but you also risk getting tainted contributors).
