This SM64 ROM Hack is surprisingly hilarious.
The penguin even tries to attack you if you shoot it, but luckily you can shoot it again.
My brother discovered that you can even shoot during the credits.
The only thing that would've made this hack perfect would be the ability to shoot Mario's floating head on the title screen, but this hack skips the whole Mario's face thing entirely.

@xianc78 iirc the momma penguin also knocks you off the ledge if you do it
Apparently, the game doesn't like killing smaller penguins.
