i guess a bunch of baraag people were in a loli discord server and they all got their accounts banned.
how many times does this have to happen for people to STOP using discord for loli....? DO NOT USE DISCORD FOR LOLI. YOU WILL BE BANNED EVEN IF YOU'RE JUST IN A SERVER AND DON'T POST ANYTHING.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club discord shouldn't be used for many things period they have some of the worst moderation online I've heard of people getting accounts banned for servers they forgot they were in because some user did edgy stuff
@Pawlicker there was recently an issue where tons of people faced a ban wave for child safety because they shared a marvel rivals trailer.
@beardalaxy@gameliberty.club discords csam filter is very vigilant (given the 764 shit and whatnot), if you post something that matches a hash you'll get instantly perma banned so some edgy trolls were sharing an innocuous photo that was a screengrab from such video to get people banned for it a while back.
shit was bad in the pb days too, some guy got a lot of people banned from games by posting hashes to irc chats.
@Pawlicker @beardalaxy This is why I don't think hashes are a good way to counter CSAM. Cloud storage companies are known to use hashing to arrest anyone who posses CP on their cloud accounts and people have been arrested because they had files that are in collision with CP hashes.
Also, someone could just change a single pixel value in a file in a way that it isn't even noticeable, thus giving it a completely different hash. So it's basically pointless.
