The Soviet Union was dependent on the US for wheat during that time. If the Soviet Union called out the US for faking the moon landing, then the US could simply cut off that deal.
Also, the true nature of relationships between countries is NOT what is shown to the public. China is supposed to be one of America's worst enemies, yet both countries participated in the Event 201 exercise just mere weeks before the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan.

For the last 40 years, Israel has been saying that Iran is "just six months away" from developing a nuclear weapon.
The fact that Iranians don't actually have the bomb after all this time should make you a little suspicious of the whole technology.

If you look into the original reporting of the bombing of Japan, the reporting on it was extremely controlled.
The original testing of the bombs looks suspect.
Think I'm a retard if you like, but I have looked into it and I doubt nukes.
I'm not saying there are not powerful bombs, as there clearly are... but I think it is mostly fear mongering for control.
