Seriously, what is supposed to replace PHP? NodeJS, Go, Elixir, Ruby on Rails, etc aren't replacements. They are designed for large scale projects. PHP is perfect for people with small websites, but want some server-side scripting. No other language/framework seems to serve that purpose.

@beardalaxy Also, this shit causes people to lose faith in the project either way. Most people don't allow redemption arcs.
@xianc78 nothing has to replace it, right? It just needs to be patched.
