While I love all sorts of rekt en n00dity threads on 4chan's /gif/ board from time to time. I have started to notice this weird convergence of trends that makes me feel uncomfortable to say the least.

There are the occasional TikTok threads. Some contain nudity, some are dedicated to our god and savior Ricardo and there is the odd thing.
TikTok is a fad with GenZ (Zoomers) in the US and parts of Asia. Teens doing silly teenage stuff things on the Internet.

Putting these two together, my fear is that I might unintentionally be viewing kiddypr0n and that is something I am not happy with. Currently in one of the two threads I can point to a bunch of videos with people of questionable age. 😞

Nor does it really matter for the game-mechanics what's what. I really don't care, I just want to cheese the system and win.

Its not asif fighting games are narrative heavy where this type of thing matters. (Even the game is narrative heavy, unless its key to the story, it doesn't matter either.)

Lets not get started about what puzzle pieces self identify as...

To be fair, procedures with equipment that operate as designed make it a comfortable and predictable experience. People on the other hand, fuck knows how this works. Just praise RNGesus things don't escalate.

@matrix I recommend playing ArmA 3 in a proper clan that uses ACRE2 (or TFR. 😞) to partition the speech. It is fucking magical... =)

@matrix Yeah, in Discord this will most likely never happen.

When I ran a A3 clan I really hoped that Discord would allow for plugins and directional audio so I didn't need to run a TeamSpeak server constantly.

@matrix All apps seem to converging on looking all alike. Slack and later Discord were the disruptors and everyone else is scrambling to make products just like them. So what you see in them, expect that from everything else.

What TeamSpeak has above anything else is right now is directional audio, which is awesome for ArmA and TFR/ACRE2. It is similar to Mumble, but with a more up to date API. (Except the ACRE2 guys have updated Mumble's Plugin-API recently, so there is some work into that! :D )

@matrix Its going the Slack/Discord route, we knew that they were busy modernizing their outdated client (and business model).
