@mario Lucky, I have been lied to too many times by religious filth, now when anyone says they're religious I treat them as a pool of water with a crocodile in it. Just because the surface is calm does not mean I am safe.

@mario I think so, I think the religions have declared war on all nonmembers, certainly Christians have, and Muslims have.
@mario I see all the time, videos of ranting christians and muslims, I saw ranting christians up close growing up, a Christian or Muslim with the attitude of live and let live looks rare to me. They want everyone to be like them, and even when they seem nice they are in fact only tolerating others, and once they get power, control, become the majority, they start murdering outsiders, gays, and heretics.

@mario I agree, and they are nice and religious because they are ignorant, if they knew what their org really represented they would either be evil and religious, or they would leave the religion.

I've been homeless before, it can be harrowing
I've been friends with junkies who literally did nothing but drugs all day and lived in an okay room inviting all their underage friends over to do more drugs
they got thrown out after shooting a gas pistol out of the window
@mario @fluffy In American homeless shelters it's not safe, homeless kids get robbed and raped there. The shelter is not a place anyone who knows, goes to, which makes it even worse because that means the most innocent, ignorant, helpless, and desperate are going to the shelters, and they don't know what they're walking into.
@fluffy @mario I fear your catholicism. I don't understand how you couldn't see why. I have been fooled too many times, the worm on a hook no longer tricks me, a hot meal and a bed is not enough to bribe me into submission, not any longer. "See how nice I have been, so you must see now that Christ is the way, right?" -it's not genuine charity, it's bribery and manipulation, and it is not laudable if it is indeed what I view it as, bribery, manipulation.

I'm no fan of religion, but the religious organizations in my community do much more for the homeless than the bureaucracy in place.
When I had 3 nights of rough sleeping (in between flats, with a broken home), I had an Islamic group bring me some soup, and the next night, they'd told some Catholics to check up on me.
Charity does seem to prosper with religion
@lunarised @mario @fluffy Yes and pushers give free drugs to first time users, it's not because the pushers are nice guys, it's self interest, they're trying to convert you, a footsoldier in the army of god is more valuable to them than 100 soups.

If they're feeding people for the chance of a conversion, then that's fine. I'd happily listen to the deeds of Mohammed for a bowl of stew.

@mario @fluffy I am so sick and tired of the constant (intentional?) confusion surrounding desiring violence, and calling for violence. Homosapiens are VIOLENT, there ar dozens of VIOLENT thoughts that go through a human beings mind, in my country we also have free speech, which means any person is allowed to talk about their desires openly, not intent, desires, not calls to action, desires, urges, feelings, if we are not even allowed to talk about our feelings, we are not free. At no point did I call for violence, at no point has Jazzy ever called for violence, Jazzy talks about feelings, that is all.

@mario I'm not allowed, so I don't do it, that's the point of laws. Any normal person would want to destroy an enemy, in the same way any normal father would want to kill a man who violated his daughter, and he is free to state that, he is righteous to state that, because he is telling the truth, such as "I would like to twist this bastards head off, but I won't, because I am better than he is, as a man who submits to law and not his base desires."
@mario I am not petty, all someone has to do is come out of their religious stupor, and admit they don't know, and to let go of their doctrine of ferocity, and they will be welcome with me.
