Ok... I thought about it a bit, and I think you are correct.

I never had any problem with playing women in games. NEVER. So, I coudn't immagine your strougle...

But there is one specific archetipe of a person I have a huge problem with. An "ungreatful bitch"

And When I though about UB, I Examples started flowing in my head.

For example, there is a game called Riftbreaker. And the main charakter in that game was so anoying, that I just gave up after few hours, because I coudn't stand listening to her for another minute. But it gets worse.

In the game Hardspace Shipbreaker, while you are an unnamed protagonist, the entire story does revolve around a UB. And I coudn't handle the fact, that I was not only not given an option to kill her on spot, I was supposed to ROOT FOR HER after SHE GOT ME INTO TOUBLE. Absolutely ridiculous.

Second Telltale Batman, I turned aff as soon as I met the UB etc...

So yeah. I get it... Games definitelly aren't only about the mechanics, and bad character CAN in fact ruin the entire experience. Because I coudn't identify with any person who would tolerate a UB as his friend.
