And the Disney series was so bad that RedLetterMedia had to say, "wait, wait, this isn't my fault. I know I set the prequels on fire and made a whole movie about how Lucas is an asshole and specifically recommended JJ Abrams do what he did with Star Trek and make a soft reboot and everything went exactly as I wanted. I know couldn't bring myself to criticize the result with the same fervor because the COMPLETE TRASH WRITING had better direction and I have a film background not a writing background so all I can criticize is petty technical shit like [George Lucas consciously going for an older style of film that I didn't even recognize]. But even though this is the literally the future I fought for and asked for... I disavow."

I tried looking up a video saying, that star wars should not be in cities, should contain practical effects only etc, but youtube has to be an asshole again.

Star Wars was in Kathleen Kennedy's hands, and that'll be his defense: I didn't know about Kathleen Kennedy.
