Had an interesting conversation with a microbiologist today.
I asked her, if there is any known mechanism of transcribing RNA back into the DNA. She didn't hesitate for a single second. Of course there is.

We call those viruses. Not all RNA strands are viruses, of course.

I know what Visuses do. I was asking about natural reverse transcription.
@LukeAlmighty HIV is already known to do it along with other viruses. In fact, we all have traces of viral DNA in our genome.
