@LukeAlmighty @Mr_NutterButter because the very concept of being able to tell if someone's voice is "manly" or not can't be determined by frequency alone and people have reported getting wildly different results.

Of course people have reported being able to control their voice. Or they could have too much noise. It's a fucking simple website running an average function.

The point is just to illustrate the general point. It's not a scientific study FFS.

And I tried many times, but my voice is just fucked. And I knew that even without the website. Why the insane scepticism?

@LukeAlmighty @Mr_NutterButter maybe "fake" is the wrong word and "disingenuous" is better. Sure it's for funsies or whatever but it only gets your median frequency and you can have certain ways of speaking that will lend your voice to more masculine or more feminine inflections. The volume you speak at, your accent, the way your frequency changes when you make certain sounds, etc.

> you can have certain ways of speaking that will lend your voice to more masculine or more feminine inflections.

Again, as I said... Some people have control over their voice, while others don't. Why is this controvertial? Why is this even a debatable topic? What's your goal or point?

@LukeAlmighty @Mr_NutterButter it's not about people changing their voice on purpose, it's about their natural voice. Maybe I care too much about a meme site though lol.

Yeah... and don't forget, that you're arguing with an autist on the internet. I know I am obsessed with how people percieve science.

Yeah......... and that kind of retardation will never change.

And I am pissed, since I got constant results of around 170hz, and I know my voice IS that fucked up. So, that is why I toot such an issue with your post.
