How do the community managers keep getting away with it?

This isn't the first time, this isn't even the 10th. At some point, people should realize, that hiring woke activists is goint to literally tank years of work on even the most ambitious projects out there.

@LukeAlmighty i still think the best option is to not have an official community at all and just let the fans more or less figure it out on their own. that way you can distance yourself from it if it goes to shit because you were never actually running it.

the only way it works in an official capacity is if you have an extremely dedicated group of folks who actually get paid to keep things on topic, that topic being strictly talking about the game or engine in question. otherwise, any drama comes back to bite your company in the ass one way or another.

I kinda realized this with the work from home era.
It is THE biggest benefit of all time not just because I can smell at hame, but more importantly, because I can work literally without a single thought about the social rules of some nagging HR insano who just happens to be in the same building drinking coffee all day.
