the most notable thing about stellar blade 1 was that the devs immediately caved in to the censorship demanded of them and all their sweet promises were null and void the same week this digital waste released
the next week this piece of wasteware was dead, all discourse silent and forgotten, no further reviews other than "it was mid i guess", and when you'd think that gooners would put their efforts where their mouth was, they were busy combatting their buyer's remorse and all was silent, there was barely even soulless AI slop
it was a more beautiful world with stellar blade discourse dead, and now it became a bit more ugly again
@tomie
Do you actually believe the censorship story in case of Stellar blade?
@LukeAlmighty I only know that there was some tacky thing, and then this tacky thing was censored, I do not care about stellar blade enough to go into details
@tomie Dev made a great (for once in a decade) video on the topic, and his explanation is, that the cloth used for the game were copyrighted, and expected to be changed before release. So, once people got attached to them, that was the moment shit hit the fan, since the usual "just don't make it too obvious" changes were noticed and considered to be the censorship.
And obviously, they couldn't just admit that was the case to avoid the blame, because they would admit to using these brands in game dev process, throwing them straight into more legal trouble.
