@K oh shit they also made such classics as Resident Evil 3 Remake and Marvel Avengers!
@Alex @K hmm, it seems like they have put resident evil 3 on their website, but they actually just developed the multiplayer game resident evil resistance that got bundled with it (i heard it was meh from my resident evil fan friends and none of them played it for very long, iirc it was pretty unbalanced).
@Alex @K probably my three favorite game series in general are star fox, f-zero, and silent hill.

@beardalaxy @Alex @K F-Zero is the only one without a fucked up reboot. But Nintendo doesn't even know what to do with the series anymore.
@xianc78 @Alex @K yeah, i'd rather have no more games than a fucked up reboot. especially because with f-zero, it seems like other devs have picked up the slack anyway. Fast RMX is fucking awesome, and even though it's still a ways out, Aero GPX is sick too. played the demo for it last night and was pretty satisfied, even for a pre-alpha.
with games inspired by silent hill and star fox, though, they always fail on one thing or another. i'm starting to worry that nobody will be able to catch lightning in a bottle like that again. you can make an on-rails shooter game with furries and a short but highly replayable campaign, but the flying or aiming is going to feel a little bit wrong. you can make a horror game with fixed camera angles and interesting puzzles, but the atmosphere is always more intentionally scary and less downright depressing.
