@matana graphics and performance are better than in botw, especially post patch, so not sure where you're getting the they're worse than 2017 from. Game is at 30fps the majority of the time. I don't think saying it's not AAA just because it's on old hardware and doesn't have full voice acting makes much sense. Something being AAA isn't defined by the game itself but by how large the studio was that made it and how big of a budget there was. You can have AA and indies that totally smash AAA games. A AAA studio could technically decide to make a game for the PS2 or something if they really wanted to and it would still be AAA.

Like, Redfall is a AAA game and doesn't have animated cutscenes, has horrific AI, and is still locked to 30fps on the most powerful console somehow. The game was in development almost as long as TotK was by a large studio with a large amount of financial backing from both Zenimax and Xbox. It's AAA, it's just shit.

Regardless my point is that TotK is one of, if not the best full-fledged game to come out of the video game industry in years.

@matana and about the oohs and ahs, there's a good reason for that. The more voice acting you have in a game, especially one as large as TotK is, the less dialogue you'll get, and the less unique it will be. That's one of the reasons people like Morrowind over Skyrim, because in making sure every line was voice acted they had to scale back the amount of things characters could say. That got even worse in Fallout 4 when they gave the player character a voice. It made characters feel hollow. That's also how you end up with characters repeating phrases annoyingly like "I am sworn to carry your burdens" or talking about the cloud district.

Then there's the problem with file size, of course. TotK is already 16gb and the switch only has 32gb of internal storage. Adding all that audio would start to bloat it pretty quickly, even if it was feasible to accomplish.
