digital media should be cheaper than physical media because the intrinsic value you are getting is less and the only cost involved for the producer is the server hosting.
@inTrax i've heard people suggest that physical versions can go back to including cool stuff with them again and it could justify a bit of a higher price. like just collector's editions or something like that. or fuck, at least those little manuals again. game cases still have spots for those to go but it's always just like DLC code inserts.
i think there are still a decent amount of people who would be willing to pay $10 for physical though tbh. i mean, i bought a copy of a game i already owned digitally to have a physical version before.

They want you to own nothing and be happy while ripping off the same $70-80 for some "AAA" goyslop garbage and hundreds more in micro-transactions and DLCs. Remember, game studios are run by businessmen (i.e. kikes or shabbos goyim), not devs. Except maybe Steam, since Gaben is/was a dev, but anyways

I think indies already do that, but the average indie game is like $10 and a lot of them don't care if you pirate anyway. Honestly, it sounds like a good incentive to get people to actually buy your game without using DRM or even enforcing your copyright because you can't pirate something physical (unless you try to replicate it with a 3D printer).
