I want a new phone because I spilled coffee onto my current one and killed one of the speakers and the second one is crackling.
I have no clue what phone. I want flagship specs. I want it under 5 inches. I really like front facing speakers, but the current trend is front being display only.
Essentially there's no phone for me.
The iPhone SE looks the best and Apple is slightly better at privacy than Google, but I want emulators and Apple doesn't allow them on the AppStore. And it also don't have tap to wake.

@uteki I'm thinking about it. I like the design, specs, features, but it's really big. I'm not sure how I feel about buying a almost 2 year old phone. I have a Xperia XZ1 Compact, that's only three years old. Also all the mainstream shops here have it sold out and I want to have the security of being able to return it if it's too big for me.

@matrix phones have more processor power but are crap in most ways compared to the cell phones of yore. I remember when computers and electronics were built to last. floppy disks from the 80s usually still work fine, but any made post-2000 are about as useful as votes in a presidential election.

I have button Nokia phones from the early 2000s and those still work, but basically I agree.
I wouldn't have a problem with phones not lasting if the flagships weren't like 800 dollars and up.
