@aqua @1iceloops123 Alita was ok
@aqua
No, I think it's worse, but it isn't bad either.

Alita was great. It was faithful to the source material, so you know what this means; Journos hated it, fan base loved it!
@xyfdi @aqua @1iceloops123 I remember it making some liberties, but nothing destructive
@Remi Yes
@matrix Yeah when I heard about this, I along with other fans were pissed. This guy is not trans or NB or any of that nonsense. He was a merc in the fucking war, took an experimental drug to get out of his war crimes and gained feminine qualities. Mainly breasts. He is still a man and is seeking revenge on the man who screwed him over. Also these fuck heads think they'll be adding Bebop's lore and making it better.
@matrix
Not anywhere close! It's an unwritten rule that re-makes never rise up to the expectations of the originals. Think of Batman, the animated series in 1992, Scooby Doo, where are you? (1969) and Tom&Jerry.
This is why I'm gonna keep back-ups of all these amazing originals for my kids to see unaltered quality.
Yep, Netflix is is a pile of rubbish shows disguised under 3 or 4 memorable ones that were decent (the office, himym, etc.)
@matrix Why listen to 10y+ of experience when you can repeat the same mistakes they did?! Nah brah, it's all different now, we got this ting called cloud computing, AWS everything and Microsoft buttplugs...Oh yeah and I heard Rust will enable web developers with Arts degrees to write concurrent code.
@eee Nigga what
@matrix
Could have been worse. At least they cared enough to try to imitate the original.
@1iceloops123
Just like Deathnote?
Can't tell what's stylization and what's shitty effects
