Lindsay Ellis quits because her fans won't stop calling her a racist and now the rewriting of history begins

@matrix hasn't this exact same thing happened like twice already?
@matrix i was pretty ontop of KiA etc in 2014, and don't remember this particular whore from gamergate but then again gamergate was SEVEN FUCKING YEARS AGO and i've moved on

@grey @matrix
That's because she jumped on the "muh sexism" bandwagon fairly recently. So no, she has pretty much nothing to do with GG.

@matrix As the leader of Gamergate I'll happily take credit for bullying Lindsey Ellis of the Internet, it'll be my third biggest achievement after spawning the Alt-Right and getting Donald Trump elected.

@Senpai-kun @matrix
I see gamergate as one of the first battles of the culture war, but everyone has their own definition anyway...

That makes it 10 tomes funnier :ablobparty:

@LukeAlmighty @matrix

As far as the 2010s goes it started with elevatorgate as that is the first time the far left alienated a large number of people who were either apolitical or left-leaning, giving them no space to move but to the right. That's why there was such a large availability of anti-feminists and anti-sjws chambered and ready to fire when the five guys scandal kicked off.
@alyx @LukeAlmighty @matrix

Donglegate was 2013, Elevatorgate was 2011. Feels like it was twenty years ago either way.
@matrix literally no one cares about this chick, she wasn't even a blip on anyone's radar during GG. as far as Channel Awesome figures go, that Todd In The Shadows guy got more "harassment" from GG because he tweeted about it more than she ever did. i think she might have tweeted about it once or twice and that's it.
