@matrix I suspect it's blood based on how the tissue absorbed the red stuff. If it was ketchup, something that has more cohesion and is more mud-like ( can't find the right word) it wouldn't splatter that way in my experience.
@xyfdi I've never seen blood form balls like that but going through her profile she definitely cuts herself

I've never bled to such extent for it to form such chunks.
