From what I've actually seen, it could have been 20 years in the future, instead of centuries past, and it wouldn't change the game in the slightest.

There was like one asian in the entire series, and I don't recall any black people.
Probably didn't need to do anything beyond run the school on the basis of merit and not for diversity points.
