@matrix I thought in one of the trailers there were multiple references to movie characters

I've literally seen like two trailers and 5 minutes of gameplay so I'm probably full of shit

@r000t @matrix there is a professor Weasley I know that for sure

But yeah it takes place in the 1800s and it makes absolutely no sense why there is so much diversity there

They could have easily made it a modern day story

@beardalaxy @r000t @matrix
Also, is there any actual connection to the time period?

From what I've actually seen, it could have been 20 years in the future, instead of centuries past, and it wouldn't change the game in the slightest.

@LukeAlmighty @r000t @matrix I have absolutely no idea, I haven't seen most of the game. I kind of get that vibe though. But idk if you ever even leave the general hogwarts area.

@beardalaxy @r000t @matrix Rowling specifically asked Hollywood to really make it a British thing back then, with British actors

@coolboymew@shitposter.club @beardalaxy@gameliberty.club @r000t@ligma.pro @matrix@gameliberty.club > In England the percentage of the population who identified within: the "Asian, or Asian British" ethnic groups was 9.6% (5.4 million) "Black, Black British, Caribbean or African" was 4.2% (2.4 million) "Mixed or Multiple ethnic groups" was 3.0% (1.7 million)

There was like one asian in the entire series, and I don't recall any black people.

> what did he do?

Probably didn't need to do anything beyond run the school on the basis of merit and not for diversity points.

@matrix funny thing is, UK in the 19 century was he most racist place on earth, in fact was the birtplace of scientific racialism
